The answers below were solicited from candidates via a written questionnaire created by WyoFile reporters and editors in June 2026. Responses are presented exactly as submitted, without fact-checking, wordsmithing or editing for grammar, punctuation or spelling errors.

Legislative candidates were invited to respond to the questionnaire several times by email and by phone. Out of fairness to the candidates who met the deadline, WyoFile will not add responses after the guide's publication.

Where do you live currently? How long have you lived there? How long have you lived in Wyoming? Where were you born?

I live in Cheyenne, I have lived here for 51 years. I was born in Colorado.

What age will you be on Election Day, Nov. 3, 2026?

52

Please tell the voters about yourself including your background and qualifications.

My background is in Criminal Justice. I have worked with juveniles and adults.

What are the biggest challenges and opportunities facing Wyoming today? As a legislator, how would you address them?

What I find to be a challenge to Wyoming and it's citizens is the lack of available mental health care and the lack of access to all healthcare. As a legislator I would address these situations by pointing out how much this lack of care costs the state both financially and in human costs.

We asked WyoFile readers to rank issues that are important to them, and healthcare costs and access topped the list. What can the Legislature do to make healthcare more affordable and accessible to Wyomingites?

I realize that Medicare expansion is not popular in Wyoming as most Wyomingites don't want the federal government involved any more than necessary, however, what is the value of the health of Wyoming citizens? We need to take another look at Medicare expansion in Wyoming.

Do you support efforts to sell or transfer public land in Wyoming? How do you plan to ensure that state and federal land is managed in the best interest of the people of Wyoming?

Sell or transfer it to whom?

No two Wyoming counties are the same when it comes to how they generate revenue. As a legislator, how would you approach the public's desire for property tax relief with local revenue needs?

I would love to pay less in taxes myself, but again, at what cost? The money has to come from somewhere and it all boils down to the same pocket, which is the pocket of the taxpayer. I really think it is a circular discussion, six on one hand, half a dozen on the other hand.

What role, if any, should the Wyoming Legislature play in economic development?

Economic development is clearly an important issue, especially considering the previous question. Instead of limiting higher education and spouting off about indoctrination, Wyoming needs to work toward integrating continuing education, both University and Trade Schools as the norm in our state. Without a critically thinking, educated populous, we have no chance at success in economic development.

Explain your values when it comes to campaign donations. Does Wyoming's system for monitoring campaign donations and expenditures need reform?

This is my first campaign, and a very broke one at that. I don't know how campaigns that receive large amounts of funds are monitored. I believe in being held accountable for the funding that I do have, and it is simply fiscally responsible and ethical to be transparent with donor dollars. Constituents should know where their donations are being applied.

As of Aug 17, 2026, per state filings.

Total Raised$1,672

* Contributions are grouped by donor name and reported ZIP code — two donors who share both could be counted as one, and the same donor could be split into separate entries if they were reported giving from two different addresses. Errors in how a candidate or committee reported a contribution may also make these totals inaccurate.
