↑ TopThe answers below were solicited from candidates via a written questionnaire created by WyoFile reporters and editors in June 2026. Responses are presented exactly as submitted, without fact-checking, wordsmithing or editing for grammar, punctuation or spelling errors.
Legislative candidates were invited to respond to the questionnaire several times by email and by phone. Out of fairness to the candidates who met the deadline, WyoFile will not add responses after the guide's publication.
Where do you live currently? How long have you lived there? How long have you lived in Wyoming? Where were you born?
I live in Cheyenne, WY. I have lived here for 6 years. I was born in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
What age will you be on Election Day, Nov. 3, 2026?
44
Please tell the voters about yourself including your background and qualifications.
I was born and raised in South Florida. I have a 17 year career in the military as an Air Force veteran and weather forecaster. I am currently in the Wyoming Army National Guard. I was the Weekend Meteorologist for KGWN Wyoming News Now in 2022. The following year I joined Laramie County School District 1 to become a substitute teacher. Last summer I became a wildland firefighter. I volunteer within the community. This fall I will be teaching, volunteering, and campaigning as I seek your vote for WY House Representative District 11.
What are the biggest challenges and opportunities facing Wyoming today? As a legislator, how would you address them?
Wyoming’s biggest challenges include economic diversification, workforce retention, rising costs, and ensuring our rural communities have access to essential services. At the same time, Wyoming has tremendous opportunities through our energy and natural resources, agriculture, tourism, technology, and small businesses. As a legislator, I will work to reduce unnecessary regulations and government red tape, protect property rights, support free markets, and keep government accountable—creating an environment where Wyoming families and businesses can succeed without unnecessary government interference.
We asked WyoFile readers to rank issues that are important to them, and healthcare costs and access topped the list. What can the Legislature do to make healthcare more affordable and accessible to Wyomingites?
Healthcare should be more affordable, accessible, and driven by patients—not government bureaucracy. Medical freedom is the best answer. I support reducing unnecessary regulations, expanding competition and consumer choice, removing barriers that limit healthcare providers, and encouraging innovative options such as telehealth and direct primary care. Wyoming should empower patients and providers to make healthcare decisions while using existing resources to strengthen access in our rural communities.
Do you support efforts to sell or transfer public land in Wyoming? How do you plan to ensure that state and federal land is managed in the best interest of the people of Wyoming?
I support responsible land sales or transfers when they are in the best interest of Wyoming citizens, protect public access where appropriate, and provide a clear long-term benefit to the state residents. Wyomingites should have a stronger voice in how lands and resources within our state are managed, with decisions made transparently and with input from local communities, landowners, ranchers, and resource users. I will fight for responsible stewardship, property rights, and accountability—ensuring our public lands are managed for the benefit of Wyoming families today and future generations.
No two Wyoming counties are the same when it comes to how they generate revenue. As a legislator, how would you approach the public's desire for property tax relief with local revenue needs?
Property tax relief should be a priority, but Wyoming’s counties have different economies and different revenue needs. I would support lowering the property tax burden while protecting essential local services through responsible budgeting, reducing government waste, and giving local communities more flexibility to determine their own priorities. Taxpayers should not be forced to pay more simply because government spending continues to grow; we need to make government live within its means and keep more money in the hands of Wyoming families and property owners.
What role, if any, should the Wyoming Legislature play in economic development?
The Legislature’s role should be to create an environment where businesses and entrepreneurs can succeed—not pick winners and losers. I would work to reduce unnecessary regulations, eliminate government red tape, protect property rights, and maintain a competitive tax environment so private investment and innovation can drive Wyoming’s economy. Government should provide a solid foundation, while Wyoming’s entrepreneurs, workers, and communities lead the way.
Explain your values when it comes to campaign donations. Does Wyoming's system for monitoring campaign donations and expenditures need reform?
I believe individuals have a right to support the candidates and causes they believe in, and campaign finance laws should protect that political participation. At the same time, I support reasonable limits on PAC contributions to candidates to reduce the potential for concentrated financial influence and ensure that elected officials remain accountable to their constituents. Any reform should prioritize transparency and equal application of the rules while protecting the First Amendment rights of individuals and organizations to participate in political debate. I have had no PACs donate to my campaign while several have donated $1,000s of dollars to each of the other political candidates. My campaign will not be swayed by the outside influence of PAC donations and if elected, I will remain loyal and responsible to only my constituents.
