On the Issues
The answers below were solicited from candidates via a written questionnaire created by WyoFile reporters and editors in June 2026. Responses are presented exactly as submitted, without fact-checking, wordsmithing or editing for grammar, punctuation or spelling errors.
Legislative candidates were invited to respond to the questionnaire several times by email and by phone. Out of fairness to the candidates who met the deadline, WyoFile will not add responses after the guide's publication.

I am an Eagle Scout, and a member of the Christian Legal Society since law school. I was a Space Systems Operations Officer in the United States Air Force.
I was in the Electro Optical and Space Division of the Hughes Aircraft Company and I obtained the first double-digit firm fixed-price contract in the history of the Hughes Aircraft Company, setting a precedent that aided Hughes in becoming the largest private employer in Southern California. I was the head of the team to redesign the fire control system of the Army's main battle tank, the M60A3; the fire control system consisting of the laser range finder, ballistic computer and thermal imaging system .
I was one of the youngest judges in Wyoming history and helped establish the Circuit Court system of today. I was president of the Delta Gamma chapter of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity at the University of Wyoming.
What are the biggest challenges and opportunities facing Wyoming today? What would you do as a federal lawmaker to address them?
I am passionate about strengthening America's defense and reducing the deficit before we experience hyperinflation.
Government is best that governs least. I will strengthen America's defense and reduce the deficit. I would make Social Security non-taxable once again. I would export our resources to Europe and Israel through the Strait of Gibraltar to broaden our opportunities. Wyoming is an energy treasure trove in an energy short world. Our natural resources should help our friends, not our enemies.
We asked WyoFile readers to rank issues that are important to them, and healthcare costs and access topped the list. What can Congress do to make healthcare more affordable and accessible to Wyomingites?
I would make Social Security non-taxable once again. Special legislation for rural hospitals. Government is best that governs least.
How willing are you to compromise with legislators and other officials with different perspectives?
Somewhat.
The Wind River Indian Reservation is home to the Eastern Shoshone and Northern Arapaho tribes. How will you represent tribal interests in Washington?
Fairly.
The Senate is tasked with confirming the president’s nominees. How would you balance the president's right to select the team of his or her choosing, with the Senate's responsibility to evaluate fitness for public service?
Carefully.
Nearly half of the land in Wyoming is managed by the federal government. As a member of Congress, how do you plan to ensure that land is managed in the best interest of the people of Wyoming?
I have international experience and qualifications unmatched by others. I support Wyoming. God bless Wyoming and keep it wild. Wyoming should not become Disneyland.
How would you rate the Trump administration’s approach to immigration since the start of 2025? How can Congress improve immigration policy for the benefit of Wyoming citizens?
Limit immigration.
